Anxiety-related symptoms can take many forms, including foggy thinking, irritability, racing heart, stomach upset and muscle tension. These symptoms can become so overwhelming, that people might begin avoiding certain tasks, activities or environments. Cognitive behavioral techniques, among other evidence-based treatments, have been shown to help reduce the problematic nature of these symptoms and the thoughts that contribute to them. I utilize an integration of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention, and other evidence-based protocols to address these concerns.
