Professional Consultation Services

It's not uncommon in the course of one's clinical work to discover that a client you are working with has underlying concerns outside your scope of experience and training. When those concerns can involve a significant risk to the client's wellbeing, such as with disordered eating or OCD, it is a clinician's responsibility to either refer that client to a provider with specialization in that clinical area or seek consultation so that you can provide the best standard of care. In light of my substantial training and ongoing work in treating both eating disorders and OCD, I offer one-on-one clinical consultation -- consistent with best practices -- for new and/or non-specializing professionals seeking support in working with these populations.

As a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) and IAEDP-approved consultant (CEDS-C), I offer supervision for professionals who are pursuing the CEDS designation through the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals. Supervision and consultation will include review of learning from the Core Courses including medical complications that can arise during the course of various eating disorders, nutritional guidelines, treatment considerations and case consultation.  Consultation sessions are available in person or virtually, and can be provided in group format (when multiple supervisees are under my guidance) and individually. For those who practice with a faith integration, I can provide support in that area as well.
